What I Wore Last night!

So last night I went on a girls night out, all very fun and I am very much paying for it today- I just want to sleep!! Also I found out that more people than I thought know about my blog, so HAI girls, if you're reading this! <3

Anyway, this is what I wore...

Unsure why, but this outfit made me feel like a bit of a secretary- I don't often wear all black, but I thought it worked last night.

My dress is a Herve Leger rip off from New Look, available here. I think I will get some wear out of it around Christmas time with different coloured shoes and accessories- regardless, every girl needs a LBD, right? ;o)

My shoes were these patent courts from Faith...

They look filthy on camera but I promise they're not all that bad IRL! I got these years ago and hardly wore them, but I thought I'd dig them out for all times sake. They weren't all that comfortable though and I am currently nursing my poor feet in some super glam fuzzy socks!

Twenty

If you follow me on Twitter you will know that It was my 20th birthday on Sunday! (I kind of like to make it a big deal :o) )

So, if you're interested here is a little account of how my day was spent!

In the morning I had to work. I had booked the day off but unfortunately there was no one to cover me :o( It was only four hours though, in the morning so I didn't mind!

After work my parents and brother met me in the town I work to bring me out for a birthday lunch. In the car my brother gave me my birthday present from him...

How cute is that? I LOVE Hello Kitty! Excuse the goofy smile, I really was THAT giddy!

After dinner (bit of a disaster, we tried three restaurants before settling on a chinese take away!) we headed home and I got my cake :D 

On the day, I treated myself to new shoes too!

OOTN & NOTD

Hello there! :o)

This week is my Uni's RAG week. For those who don't know, RAG stands for Raise and Give. There are numerous charity events on in campus, as well as this year, the world record attempt for the biggest "Rock the Boat" was broken! My boyfriend and I went out last night with friends, and this is what I wore...

 The playsuit is from NewLook, and is avaliable here.

Again, I bought this in a size 6, I think the sizes are getting a little bigger at New Look. I could well have got smaller, even!

My nude peep toes are also from New Look, from nearly a year ago now. I would have posted a close-up, but the studs on them have started to come off and they are looking a little worse for wear. I really need to invest in some new ones!

 Here is a close up, it has a really cute multi-coloured heart print. It is a little crumpled as you can see, I took the picture the day after I wore it, and I don't have an iron handy!

Now on to the NOTD...

After I returned from my shopping trip with my mum on Saturday, I tweeted that I had got hold of the holy grail du jour in the nail polish world, GOSH Holographic 549.

I picked this up at half price! Amazing, since people have the audacity to sell these on eBay for up to €17 (here if you don't believe me!). I paid €4.25, I believe the full price is €8.50. I am going back on Wednesday to see if there is any more left. 

My only complaint is the longevity, it will chip in less than a day. However I am lazy and haven't used a base coat, so I can't really talk! Also, the brush isn't amazing, it is quite small. However, I love how it changes colour when it catches different lights. It keeps me amused anyway!
